What to Expect

Your first step is a one-to-one meeting with me, so you can get to know me and talk about your needs. This is where we find out if I am a good fit for you and your estate plan. It is important to have confidence in your Fiduciary and know that I understand your unique needs and will make decisions based on your personal values. This first meeting can take place in your home or over the phone and is always free.

Next, you'll meet with your attorney again to finalize and sign your documents which name me as your Professional Fiduciary.

Once everything is signed, I will get a set of original documents. We will schedule a client intake meeting. This is a more in-depth discussion to gather the information that may be needed later to administer your affairs as closely as possible to the way you would want them handled.

Depending on your needs, I may begin assisting you with your affairs immediately or I may simply be on call when the time comes. You can rest assured that I will serve to the best of my abilities and always rely on qualified professionals to advise me in areas outside the scope of my expertise.

Trustee Services

My Trustee services are adapted to fit your individual needs, depending on the purpose spelled out in your Trust Documents; Revocable/Irrevocable Trustee, Special Needs Trustee, Charitable Trustee, Testamentary Trustee.

Trust management may include intake review, beneficiary outreach, record keeping & reporting, investment, bill paying, tax audit, and legal audit, care management.

Personal Representative & Estate Administration

The transition of an estate after death is often a stressful and complicated time. Appointing an objective third party to be responsible for carrying out the terms of your will can give you enormous peace of mind.

Your loved ones are grieving and often not thinking clearly. This may not be the time to add extra responsibilities for them. They may be simply overwhelmed, or worse - arguing with each other about your estate.

Sometimes called an executor, your personal representative is responsible for settling your affairs by securing your estate, documenting your assets, filing taxes, paying debts, and distributing according to your intentions.

Power of Attorney and Health Care Surrogate

These documents operate during your lifetime to give me the authority to act on your behalf when you cannot. You may not need me to step into these roles right away, but it is reassuring to know that someone you can rely on is ready to carry out your wishes when the time comes.
